I don’t like having jokes explained, so I agree.

I can’t find the picture, Derek, but a few years ago a member of the Jim Beam extended family died of melanoma, and in the picture they used she was that dark orange one associates with a devotion to a tanning bed. Surely they could have found a less obvious picture, but there it was.

When I read it this morning I almost submitted it as an Arlo.

My first thought, too, is that they are screwing the customer, and not in a way that is pleasant for the customer.

This is a two-level joke. On the surface, there’s the obvious “cat’s got your tongue” reference, but there’s a second, Arlo-ish one lurking there, too. Or possibly I just have a dirty mind. Could be either.

I think that’s meant to be Dilbert’s laptop bag, not Alice’s pocketbook. The purple-ish tint is probably a compression artifact, it’s clearly grey when seen in better quality.

The violent possibilities don’t justify the frame 2 reaction. PHB ripping off a dummy’s head or kicking it where its nuts would be if it wasn’t a dummy just doesn’t do it. Only the sexual abuse or sexual violence options make sense.
