This actually does reflect teenager logic: phone calls take longer to deal with and can easily sit in voice mail for long periods of time. Texts get more immediate attention.

Okay, seriously, would anybody over the age of five ask a question this moronic? To his girlfriend’s father, no less? Why not go all the way and ask Sara why her nose is bigger than her bustline?

And what’s with Mr. Toomey’s response? Overcompensation? And honestly, a PhD in engineering isn’t chopped liver, but it’s not as if he invented cold fusion or anything. He seems to think his accomplishments are absolutely awe-inspiring.

And the point here is what, that Jeremy hasn’t accomplished as much as he has? The kid just turned 16.

Is there any particular reason an iPod would work better than, say, a small rock? Seriously, I need to know this: I have a 16-year-old who doesn’t do mornings, who has to be woken up at 5:30 for school, and it starts up again in only a few weeks.

Okay, is there anybody (outside of those with a financial interest in the product) who’s actually thankful for drinks sweetened with high-fructose corn syrup? I can accept the fact that some people apparently can’t tell the difference between sugar and HFCS; but to be thankful for it??
 
I thought the rest of Jeremy’s blessing was, well, kind of sweet.

This strip, which seemed to be the lead-in to a storyline, was followed by a week of repeats. Anybody know whether there was supposed to be a week-long sequence about the abstinence lecture, and the syndicate just said no?
