Walt’s supposed to be an XXL? And Momma Keene is supposed to be thickset and squat??Or is something else going on in the Zits strip?Does Momma Duncan (damn, her name is right on the tip of my tongue) think that Walt will appear to be thinner if he wears XXL pants. Though they don’t
seem to be XXL pants.
Okay, I don’t even know if this is a CIDU. And I’m not even going to try to figure out the right acronym for that.

I am still in shock over how mind-bogglingly awful last night’s Lost finale was — especially since for a show that’s essentially a multi-year puzzle, the final episode makes or breaks the entire run. Still, this is where to discuss that.

What exactly is going on here? Mrs. Keene is berating the teacher because Jeri got the assignment wrong? This wouldn’t even make sense if Mrs. Keene has ever shown signs that she even liked Jeri. Theirs is without question the most unsettling parent-child relationship in mainstream comics.

Not a CIDU, but something that just annoys me: Through the entire run of this comic strip, Jeri (the older girl, on the couch) has been portrayed as the stupidest human being on the face of the planet, while little sister Teena has been highly intelligent and abnormally clever.
So, you know, what the hell…?
Follow-up: Yup, a complete brain transplant…
And are we supposed to assume Jeri amended her definition of “RSVP” to include the alcohol and underwear business too? I think this just moved into CIDU territory.
Just for the record, Teena’s supposed to be 11. My kids knew what “RSVP” meant way earlier than that.
