Every so often people ask me to explain the concept of “Pluggers” and I always though I kind of sort of understood it… but now that they’re discussing my kids, I’m just stumped.
Maybe you’re a plugger if you understand the concept of Pluggers??

Andrew Wheeler: I can’t decide if pluggers are older than Methuselah or just bad at math.I suppose it’s possible that the “students” retired from pro sports in their thirties, or as policemen after “putting in their 20,” but the typical age for retirement in the US is 65. So someone retired twenty years should be about 85. And someone who taught those student has to be at least fifteen years older, right? Is the point here that “You’re not a plugger until you hit a hundred?” Or am I missing something?
