The problem is, since there isn’t any “innocent” interpretation of this last comment, there’s no way 7-year-old Dean would be saying it.

Unless Dean’s cat will only do its business if the comic section is under its litter box, I’m stumped.
In my limited experience, in fact, it’s the bag the newspaper came in that’s the vital piece of this exercise.

Okay, granted I don’t know a whole lot about that Snooki person — but I was under the impression that “miniaturized” was not the first word that comes to mind when describing her.

In the period between the time Mr. Tatulli wrote this and the syndicate distributed it, the Green Lantern trailer was indeed released. “Sucks” is too kind a word for it. So stick to your principles, Dean!

I downloaded today’s Lio strip for Sunday’s LOL page — but it just happens that today was also the day Cathy Guisewite
announced that the Cathy strip would end in October.

Several people sent me the Lio strip as a CIDU, asking whether perhaps the second and third panel had been reversed.
Nicole sent it with this comment:
It took a couple of readings to get this one. At first I thought that panels two and three were out of order. Then upon subsequent readings I realized that this was a take on the Ninja slicing at a candle SO fast that it stays together for a time before falling apart. The question I have is, did anyone else see this strip out of order and if it is that easy to misinterpret does it actually work as a comic?
My answer to her question(s) are “Yes, several,” and “It worked for me, but YMMV.”
And
one day late …

Dare I wonder how this was made? And why Heart thinks Dean would want to buy it?

1) I thought syndicated newspaper comics had a three-week lead time with no exceptions (which is why “tribute” strips always appear en masse 21 days or so after a celebrity’s death)
2) Nice to see Farrah getting some attention
3) Interesting how it took so few pen strokes for Mr. Tatulli to evoke that famous poster.
