Is there some internal logic by which “belly up” means “financial success” to a lingerie company? And, while admittedly I’m not an expert on the subject, isn’t she handing over a bra, not a slip?

Nicole: I get what Jimmy Johnson is getting at here, initially Arlo is looking forward to the “Baywatch Effect”. What I don’t understand is why he is still smiling in the last panel ? As anyone who has ever worn a sports bra can tell you, it has two effects, it flattens and does not allow for a lot of jiggle — the later is the point of wearing one. So … having been denied the “Baywatch Effect” shouldn’t Arlo be frowning in the last panel ? 

As an aside … if you post this, I’ll bet the Seinfeld ‘bro’ episode comes up.
