Elias Peter: I’m not sure why Daryl would be disappointed in getting a useful tool as a gift. Shouldn’t this be remembered as a landmark moment when two spouses exchanged perfectly reasonable gifts?

Okay, this would kind of make sense if the family in Baby Blues were Jewish. But they’re not. Or if they are, this seems to be the first time it’s been referenced in close to 20 years. And their last name is MacPherson.
I actually do have a theory, but it’s way too convoluted to be what Rick Kirkman and Jerry Scott had in mind.

So if Zoey hadn’t startled the baby, where do they suppose the prunes would have ended up? Prune Fairy would have just whisked them cleanly out of her body??

Are we supposed to assume they’re actually doing the ol’ Vertical Arlo and Janis, or are they really concerned that the kids might see them kissing?

Submitted by Dale I found the Baby Blues strip very funny the first time I saw it because my younger son orders his ice cream the same way — and he doesn’t even like ice cream -Bill

Okay, I understand this is Zoe getting lost in the mall; but who’s that phantom kid on the left, NotMe?

When the lol posts get too long, they seem to mess up the site’s new template — so I’m going to start putting them online every Monday instead of twice a month.

Or maybe I just find it funny because I remember my son and my niece playing hide-and-seek in a completely empty room.

Norm Vance: … but then I started wondering — where’s Toto?

Winter Wallaby offered one that’s a bit too large for this page, so you can go directly to the source.

But if he doesn’t know what 30% means, then…?
Well, there really isn’t much more to say about this one, so let’s go on to another 30% comic:

Okay, I see the “basic math skills” part — the shirt should cost $11.89 — but then, I wouldn’t expect either the customer or the sales person to figure that out in her head (which is why cash registers have built in computers to calculate the correct change for a $4.76 purchase made with a $5 bill). Basic math skills have nothing to do with the bizarre leap in logic by which the customer expects the store’s going to pay her to take the item.
