All good, but I love that last one.

I like the Argyle Sweater - not a LoL, but it got a smile (vs. a groan).

    Hey, is Rayon even washable?

    “Hey, is Rayon even washable?”

Yes, but you don’t need to hang it up to dry. Just take it out of washer and give it a couple shakes. It’ll be ready to go.

Aria 51: Only to be sung in a secret alien bass, of course.

Boise Ed (1) was not alone in his admiration for the Aria 51 gag:

For myself, I’m not a fan of puns that rely on lazy pronunciation - but that’s just me, a foreigner who cringes every time I hear how Old Glory gallantly streamed through the “pair-uh-liss” fight. Just don’t get me started on “Oh Can-uh-duh”.

Well, dang, we missed the opportunity to have a Saturday Synchr-oy-nicity!

I guess I’m not sure what your objection is to either. That seems pretty normal schwa pronunciation.

@ “Canada” (6 & 8) - A German joke explains the origin of the name as coming from the first (Bavarian) explorer who landed there, looked around, and said, “kahna da?” (in German, “Keiner da” means “nobody there”).

P.S. Dratted Wordpress. That smiley was supposed to be an 8.

I never realized Nancy had such violent tendencies. Maybe she’s been hanging around with Sarge from the Beetle Bailey strip.
