“Noah’s Ark” jokes come in two by two.
(The Argyle Sweater cartoon is a classic!)

Is there a significance that “Noah” is a compass, as opposed to, say, a hammer? (not trying to quibble, just curious if I am missing something)

And yes, while I know that “God” has to be a ruler for the joke to work, wouldn’t a ruler be a tool used in the actual building of the ark? This sort of ruins the anthropomorphism angle because it would be analogous to God being someone who works for Noah (okay, now I am quibbling)

A section of the circumference of a circle is called an “arc”.

The Ruler wants Noah Compass to build him an “arC”, not an “arK”.

Yep, calling for an “arc” makes it clever.

Oh, duh. I can’t believe I missed that.

Kind of a liberal comic - in many mainstream religions, god doesn’t like bisectuals.
