I never thought of it from the football’s perspective before. Lucy is presumably a hero of mythical stature in the football community. They probably celebrate St. Lucy’s Day by having some football villager dress up in a striped shirt and clumsily attempt to kick all the villagers. Hilarity ensues, along with a lot of drinking and celebration.
