Apparently, working out enough to beef up like Superman was a bit higher on the list than planting the tree and finishing the novel..

It’s the middle of January and he’s already followed through on all of his New Year’s resolutions. Like Jeff said, “Go to the gym” was probably one of the other ones. Either that or it was “Stuff shirt with lots of tissues.”

“Why did I put ‘Be able to leap tall buildings on a single bound’ down? I can already fly!”

That tree doesn’t look like it was only recently planted. So I’m wondering from which year is the list he is lookinkg at.

It would appear that completing the last two projects of who knows how many by mid-January would indicate that he is “Superman” especially considering that it is a large tree.

I think it’s just his way of upending all the inane “broke all my resolutions by mid-January” jokes.

He also could have had someone who had already started smoking, gained weight, cancelled his gym membership, stopped writing his journal, forgot a foreign language…

The joke is that we’re looking at the one guy who’s really good at keeping his New Year’s resolutions.

Superman has super speed (at least the one when I was growing up did) which seems to apply to growing trees also.
Want to see the fastest resolution keeping in the world?
    Want to see it again?

This guy is so superpowered he can accomplish his ambitious New Years’ resolutions by mid-January. This is indicated by his enormous muscles. That’s all she wrote.

I guess that could be Clark and Lois. Although, he should have put in the “s” curl if he wanted it to be clear. And the hair line is more receded than Superman’s would be. And Superman has a more pronounced jawline.
