I’m guessing here that Arlo doesn’t want Luddie to see the dog turning the Snow Cat yellow?

That would be the most reasonable explanation, yes. The dog has disrespected the snow cat in a most severe manner.

How could you think anything different? The Snow Cat even looks like Luddie. I have found though, living with both a cat and dog, that a cat is much more likely to disrespect a dog.

You all have sick minds. The road is melting clean, and snow cat has developed a pronounced slumping and leaning. Arlo is shielding Luddie’s eyes from the tragic view of his compatriot melting.

And the dog’s urine will definitely accelerate the process …

I find it ironic that the snowcat has sticks for whiskers and leaves for ears (giving it the appearance of having rather realistic ears), whereas Ludwig’s ears are… sticks.

phaedrus, we are just trying to prove The Vicar right: A&J is too gross to be allowed.

Not only is this Red and Rover a synchronicity, but it shows that Arlo need not be so concerned, the dog is merely demonstrating it’s appreciation.
