Hee hee. A pun to make even Stephen Pastis jealous.

I know it’s two weeks past Christmas, but thanks for posting these. The delight of the little mouse makes me smile.

Cheeses Ripe! They were both pretty darn funny!

The “Alfred Hatchplot” titles are done very nicely! [That’s how MAD Magazine used to refer to him in parodies.]

“Oh, Cheese and Rice!!” is apparently really a form of ‘minced oath’ some people adopt to provide a quasi-cursing outlet while avoiding outright taking the name in vain.

And then there’s the bumper sticker, “Honk if You Love Cheeses”

Yes, mitch4, I worked with a man whose favorite faux curse word was “Cheese and Rice!!” I kept reminding him that God knew what he really meant, so he was still going to burn in Hell with the rest of us. ;)

The Hitchcock one was great - except that in the final panel the flying reindeer should have been buzzing someone on the ground.

A satisfying pun and a very well-done story with the Hitchcock titles.

    Vertigo was definitely my favorite.
