    Thanks Morris (@5), I didn’t think the pun was subtle at all, until I realized that you were not talking about “sheepish”, but rather the intentional “missing” H in “wether“.

    Maybe he would have had better luck with the incantation that Babe used at the end of the movie: “Baa - Ram -Ewe …

    Yes, I was referring to “wether”. Of course, a wether wouldn’t be able to multiply.

    They are both ewes? I think we have the wrong end of the sheep exposed to come to that conclusion. (Male sheep do not necessarily have horns, and even if the presumably male sheep in this cartoon lacks physical horns, he certainly seems to be sprouting metaphorical ones.)
