Garfield unconsciously registers that he’s been kissed and puckers up for another. Odie obliges.

    Disgusting.

    Wow, that’s from 2008.

Betcha Didn’t Know: when you kiss someone under the mistletoe you’re supposed to pluck one berry from the bunch. When all the berries have been plucked, discard. It’s not like a no-limit credit card or something.

Boy Odie sure is going to feel stupid when he remembers that it’s *autoerotic* asphyxiation not alloerotic.

Garfield realized that he’s been awakened with a kiss from Liz, then senses a presence above him. He puckers up and Odie plants one on him and you see him kicking his feet in futility to get free.

Bob in Nashville - I thought he was kicking his feet in excitement.

Jon Arbuckle was too dim to try that …

Jim Davis is an outspoken proponent of gay interspecies pet marriage. You hang in there, Jim! Your day is coming!

This raises the question of whether Garfield is sleeping under the mistletoe on purpose, or whether he just fell asleep wherever he happened to be.

Is anyone else REALLY disturbed by the fact that Garfield responds so positively to a kiss from Liz? Look at that smile… Ew.

Although, this Liz/Garfield affair would be an epic resolution if Jim ever decides to bring back the “Jon fails with women” gag.

Except that Liz is Garfield’s doctor, so that would be unethical.
