Given the context, while reading this in my head I pronounced “baster” to rhyme with “Hastur”… and only realized after the fact that oooooooooh she meant a turkey bay-str.

Seek shelter? If the bird exploded, all would be finished by now. If it was just burnt, a sword might be useful for cutting it, but the sword of Isis was supposed to “harness the power of the sun and the earth.” Hmmm, that might be helpful if the oven died. Perhaps the bird transformed into Godzilla (Godzurky?) through a mystical application of spices, and the hotline ladies have to go and kill the baysturd.

    It’s the zombie (turkey) apocalypse!

Medium Large is always great. There’s a whole series of Charlie Brown Thanksgiving strips over there this week.

Plus, if you’re not already doing so, you really should follow Ces’ Angry Santa Elf twitter feed. Just search for AngrySantaElf, you should find it.

As god as my witness, I thought I could stop the zombie turkeys with a headshot from my boomstick.

A CIDU. Or maybe it’s just been too many decades since I last lived in the US and had to go through Thanksgiving and the Cooking of the Bird. Paper bag on or off. Stuffing in from the start or not. Restaurant open or not. Etc.

Simple- the bird not only didn’t cook properly, but the attempt at cooking it has summoned an unbeakable eldritch horror from the Darkness beyond Madness. Evelyn only took this job because she knew that this was always a possibility, and someone had to be prepared for it.

This is what happens when you take your recipe from the Necrocookicon.

    Thanks, Scott, for the ROTFLMAO.
