Of course, a defibrillator doesn’t work like that- the flies are not touching a ground and thus will not be subject to any dangerous electrical current. This is the same reason why birds perching on a high tension wire are not killed- they are not grounded and the current passes by them. Comic book physics is a little dodgy, but I don’t think Electro’s hands are different electrical poles and therefore he wouldn’t be able to direct the life-saving current through the patients heart; most likely he is frying the entire body

Which one is Electro, anyway? The one with the surgeon’s mask or the one with the lightning-bolt mask?
(I kid, I kid.)

That’s not a defibrillator. It’s a defibulator.

There’s a thing you can buy that looks like a tennis racket but is really a portable bug zapper. The “strings” are wires that almost but don’t quite touch at the crossings, and you put two batteries in it. It’s really great for when you take a walk in the woods among the mosquitoes, flies and no-see-ums.
If it’s not called a defibulator, it should be.

What? The fibula is the smaller of the two bones in your lower leg. How does the paddle remove that bone?
