Internet Meme. Youtube. — Honey Badger Don’t Give a $#!+
Folly Jan 17th 2012 at 12:08 am 2
..Actually the title starts out ‘Honey Badger Don’t Care’ which fits the comic better
Kamino Neko Jan 17th 2012 at 12:12 am 3
I knew this one would be getting here.
But, yeah ‘Honeybadger don’t care’ is a weird-ass meme, and what’s being referenced.

I don’t have sound on this computer. but I think this is the original

Once again we see that worthless trash can go viral just as easily as superb craftsmanship.

I made it about 1/2 way through Folly’s youtube link and I decided that I didn’t care.
I just don’t understand how some things even become memes.

See now, this is why CIDU Bill runs such a great site. I’ve picked up a reference, minimal effort and more than a little interesting (the folks here, not the meme.) Thanks all!

Bill, you are WAY more than 27 seconds behind.

The LSU cornerback Tyrann Mathieu is nicknamed “honey badger”.

The number of times Brent Musberger said “honey badger” during the national championship game was so fan-boy it would have made an 11 year old Justin Bieber-ite blush.
I think the meme is far more popular because of the picture than the YouTube video.

If you don’t think “Honey Badger don’t care” isn’t the most hilarious thing ever, we can never be friends.
Pirk Jan 17th 2012 at 01:23 pm 12
Can anyone read what charity he’s donating to?
Pirk Jan 17th 2012 at 01:27 pm 13
I don’t get all of this hostility toward the honey badger meme. It’s the most educational of the youtube viral videos I’ve seen

James #11: I’m getting a little dizzy trying to parse the triple negative in that sentence.
The dead snake on the table is a nice touch.

If I remember correctly, the check is being made out to some honey badger charity.
Another stupid Brevity. IF the honey badger could write and live as a human, and if there were honey badger charities, why wouldn’t there be a honey badger somewhere who does care?
Mark in Boston Jan 17th 2012 at 05:21 pm 16
Pirk: The Honey Badger is writing a check to the Naples Zoo in Naples, Florida.

Wow, that Naples promo is so boring next to the original Honey Badger video. “We’ve got a honey badger exhibit, and we want you to promote it. But we’ve got to keep it family friendly, so no swearing, and the video we want you to narrate isn’t very gross or frenetic. So basically, we want you to be a camp voice talking about honey badgers. That’s what made the first one funny, right?”
I hadn’t heard of the honey badger video until Randall narrated a Mythbusters promo for some con, and didn’t watch the original until this CIDU post went up.
Powers Jan 19th 2012 at 08:20 am 18
Did we watch the same promo, Peter? “Badass” is “no swearing”, and ripping the head off of a mouse isn’t gross?
