With the possible exception of the strips featuring Ashley and the Sunday
strips all of “Least I Could Do” is one big Arlo. And a good portion of the
time it is just plain XXX rated.

I’d hate to see them try to tame it enough for the newspapers. I regard it as something of a guilty pleasure — it’s not just X-rated, it’s got some fairly undisguised sexism. But it’s so cheerful and right-out-there about it, you can’t get mad at him.

… Why is Howie Mandel calling his penis ‘Tibet’?

Umm, it’s the tallest or highest country in the world. Calling it the “Dead Sea” for instance wouldn’t be all that inspiring. ;)

Unless you mean why does he look Howie Mandel. That, I got nuthin’.

Meh. Both Rayne and his brother have the emotional maturity of middle-school boys.

At least it’s one of those rare strips where Rayne isn’t actively being a douchebag to his friends.

    Bah, PG-13 at most.

I hesitate to say what James Joyce (or rather his creation Leopold Bloom) called the Dead Sea.

Why should he have to give a statement to the cops? Tacky pick up lines are hardly a police matter.

Me, I’m wondering what the heck his right hand is doing (and where it is doing it) in the third panel.

  10. Kamino Neko Sep 20th 2010 at 01:56 pm 10

Fondling the inside of her left knee. He has very specialized kinks. >_>

  11. Keera Sep 20th 2010 at 02:01 pm 11

That’s a kink? Huh. I didn’t know that about myself.

Soup Dragon#8- He was the last one seen with her before she was found dead.

  13. Detcord Sep 21st 2010 at 02:55 pm 13

Um. That’s no knee he’s groping. (Knees are a bit further down - biologically speaking)

  14. paperboy Sep 21st 2010 at 03:18 pm 14

But,Detcord, it looks like his arm his straightened, and his elbow is at her belly-button level. Kamino assumes correctly.

  15. Detcord Sep 21st 2010 at 04:16 pm 15

Paperboy, look at his right arm (the sleeve is half rolled-up) Note the top-crease (indicating a bend) and the bottom line of the sleeve which is now at about a 70 degree angle from the vertical upper-arm. His forearm is thus almost parallel with the ground - and the end of the forearm is doing something that would be of interest to the police (assuming the lady complained - which the last panel implies in the affirmative).

Kamino assumes politely, but her assumption does not explain the police’s interest - nor his lascivious grin. He’s up to naughty no-good - in a manner of speaking.

  16. paperboy Sep 21st 2010 at 05:04 pm 16

Wrong, Detcord; the crease does not indicate a bend, but simply a fold caused by a previous bend in the 1st and 2nd panel, and from the previous panels we can see that his elbow is at the fold. A tiny triangle of flesh can be seen at the bottom of his sleeve in panel #3, too far down to be his elbow. Ergo, ipso facto, his arm is straightened, and unless he has the powers of Plastic Man or Mr. Fantastic, the best he can do is the knee. (the lovely knee!)
