A Message From Your Grandchildren and Your Great-Grandchildren

Please date and label your photos, whether they’re on paper or digital. You won’t be around forever, and your memory might start to go before the rest of you does.
Last week I came across hundreds of old family photos (many over 70 years old) that my mother didn’t know she even had. Some were dated. Some, my mother was able to provide details for. Others, well, nobody will ever know. Once this sort of information is gone, it really is gone forever. And somebody — your kids, your grandchildren, your great-grandchildren, whatever — will care.
