Does anybody with teenage boys think this is a joke or have any idea why Walt and Connie are reacting the way they are?

It’s pretty simple, isn’t it? Jeremy eats a lot. He doesn’t much care WHAT he eats.

That was Bill’s point, Kamino. This doesn’t have a CIDU tag.

See, I laughed. Of course, I see that look on my mother-in-law’s face any time she asks my brother in laws anything and she gets a monosyllabic answer. Or when one of them scoops up half of the meal we prepared and later says that it was “just okay.” Ah, exasperation.

Ah, I see…I misread his note beneath the strip.

it’s more of a Pluggers style joke isn’t it?

They’re frustrated, yet unsurprised, by Jeremy’s unhelpfulness.

Same joke as always: Jeremy’s (pick one or more) lazy, unhelpful, clumsy, unappreciative, uncommunicative, and/or eats a lot (very sloppily). Dad’s reaction in p3 is (pick one or more) disgust/exasperation/acknowledgement that Jeremy’s still a pig. Mom doesn’t really seem to have any reaction at all.

It’s a flip on the old Jewish joke: “The food there was terrible! And such small portions!”

What happened to Jeremy’s older brother? Did he run away with Richie Cunningham’s older brother?
