Sounds like a lie to me.

I thought about submitting Id, but I knew I didn’t need to. Once again, my yardstick (no pun intended) was, “Could somebody explain this to a kid reading the comics page?”

“Could somebody explain this to a kid reading the comics page?”
Sure, because somebody already had to explain those TV commercials to the kids.
Tim - Do you think Pinocchio drank Rockstar Guava?
Rainey Jul 23rd 2010 at 12:33 am 4
Elyrest, it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if he drank Rockstar Guava. Did you get some for your husband like you said you would?
Elyrest Jul 23rd 2010 at 12:54 am 5
Rainey - I haven’t located any yet. I’m going to keep looking.

Yes, the Speed Bump seems to work, even though the Pinocchio story doesn’t have the prodigal brother character AFAIK.

unintended Viagra side effect

Pinocchio misses his brother even more then Geppetto does, because Geppetto carved Pinocchio out of pine.

Bravo, MIB!

I really, really liked the Speedbump strip, and Mark in Boston just made it even better!

I just found Rockstar Guava yesterday. Haven’t tried it out yet…

The Wizard of Id is actually funny every now and then since Johnny Hart died. I can’t imagine that bible thumper ever making a Viagra reference, or for that matter any reference that wasn’t a mean-spirited attack on anything which did not jibe with his right winged Christian slant.
