Judge Judy and Lemons

Elyrest: [July 14] “Arctic Circle & One Big Happy are going to Judge Judy. Two Lumps & Rubes are learning what to do with lemons. Now if we could just get Judge Judy to drink the tequila lemonade we’d all be better off.”

Is junk mail delivered by a different mailman than the regular mail? It all seems to come at once to my house.

When life gives you avocados, make some guacamole!

Regarding the first strip: I’m not sure that being humiliated in front of millions of people is a lesser punishment.

@Scott E: Depends on the Junk Mail, we get a bag full of flyers on the doorstep every Saturday, and don’t get regular mail delivered to the house at all (cheap lazy canada post grumble mumble….(pet peeve there)).
And I’m sitting wondering why I’ve never heard “When Life Gives You Lemons, Do Tequila Shots” before, sounds just like something my friends would come out with (And not a half bad philosophy)

At the risk of being a curmudgeon, let me point out that most folks I know who do shots of tequila do them with lime and salt, if they use anything else at all. Never lemons.

@BetterBanon #5: That’s true, I guess it should be ‘When … Lemons, Break out the Coronas’

I’m partial to fish with lemon myself

BetterBanon (5) Some of us don’t care for lime, but find lemons delightful.

Comic Ron White (of Blue Collar Comedy fame) said it this way: “I believe that when life gives you lemons, you should make lemonade. Then find someone to whom life has given vodka, and have a party.” I think this was the joke the comic strip was trying to tell.
