I think she’s lamenting that, being “unconventional”, she won’t be able to go to conventions.

She’s lamenting that their beauty is not the type to inspire conventions, that is, they do not have throngs of admirers as do the conventional beauties.

I took it to mean simply that Stick, being “unconventional,” has *none* of the things thought of as “conventions” of beauty.
