As for his politics, having seen first-hand what the advantages are to an even blend of socialism and capitalism, I find that I cannot be for just one or the other. Not to care about workers is cruel and unnecessary and will eventually ruin capitalism (that may explain the dagger through the heart). Not to care about free will and with that the free market, dispirits (why not 2 s-es, spellcheck?) humans and countries alike. Nationalism is never a good thing. However, I believe most of the early relativity thought experiments and paradoxes used locomotives, not automobiles (nowadays they use rockets, of course).
