I just noticed somewhere that somewhere between the 3rd and 4th panel, Rat puts on a cup.

2 oompa-loompas, 1 cup?

It took me a while to figure this out, but this strip is about irony. It’s ironic that a floating logo be able to interact with characters as though it’s a solid object. It’s alao ironic that this strip points out the indecency of animal characters wearing just a cup when they’ve been naked all this time but we didn’t “realize” it because we’re so used to seeing naked animal characters. It’s also ironic that these male characters are anatomically incorrect in a way that should destroy the joke but doesn’t.

Actually, it just occurred to me Rat’s Oompah Loompahs have probably been removed… Intact adult male rats are pretty…unmistakable.

Rat’s short, but his legs are about the same length as Pig’s…so his Oompah Loompahs are still in danger.

I don’t think a pig’s oompa-loompas are in the same place as a human’s. This is taking anthropomorphication too far!

I just like to use that word. One doesn’t get to very often.
