Nicole: I get what Jimmy Johnson is getting at here, initially Arlo is looking forward to the “Baywatch Effect”. What I don’t understand is why he is still smiling in the last panel ? As anyone who has ever worn a sports bra can tell you, it has two effects, it flattens and does not allow for a lot of jiggle — the later is the point of wearing one. So … having been denied the “Baywatch Effect” shouldn’t Arlo be frowning in the last panel ? 

As an aside … if you post this, I’ll bet the Seinfeld ‘bro’ episode comes up.

Elias Peter: I’m not sure why Daryl would be disappointed in getting a useful tool as a gift. Shouldn’t this be remembered as a landmark moment when two spouses exchanged perfectly reasonable gifts?
