P.S. I forgot to laud CIDU Bill for the superb headline (I’m not sure he intended to promote the singular “a” to a bivalent “di(e)”, but the result works on multiple levels).

Oh, funny. When I saw the comic a few days ago, I didn’t grasp why he regretted saying it, that it might be a valid fear for him, personally. Cute.

“Enough to start doing your own laundry?” is a clue that this is meant to be a Lockhorns-style domestic strife gag. In other words, he might be worried that his Loving Wife might plant a bomb in his underwear, something that would be prevented by him washing his own undies.
