Not sure how old this SMBC is, but Zach had one earlier this week with the same theme.

They keep one hand in a glove of Vaseline so that it’ll soft for their wives.
Cidu Bill Jan 29th 2010 at 12:20 pm 3
Bob, this is the one from earlier this week.
Chris Jan 29th 2010 at 12:40 pm 4
Bob, that could be said every week for SMBC.

Men are all politicians. Our hands get rough from shaking alot of hands

LOL Mateus.

Paperboy, thank you NOT for planting the Brylcreem jingle in my head.:)
[But why do I know most of the words?]

Does anyone wish for observant children? Dads usually hope their kids are healthy, intelligent, etc. And by the way, that’s more than observant. That’s obsessive.

I was talking about #1774 on the SMBC web site. This one is #1770.
John Everett Jan 30th 2010 at 02:39 am 12
I like SMBC’s pattern of offering a panel that sort of makes you go “huh?” and then a caption at the bottom that puts it in some sort of context, often by explaining that it is the moment after someone did or said something… Uh, is there a name for that?
Keera Jan 30th 2010 at 08:35 am 13
Most parents get very unhappy when their kids are observant.
Igelino Jan 30th 2010 at 08:46 am 14
Thanks Nicole.
In case anyone missed the double-eww, she’s holding her father’s hand.
Keera Jan 30th 2010 at 08:54 am 15
Dad’s right-handed, Igelino.
mitch4 Jan 30th 2010 at 09:20 am 16
Oh, I missed that it might be his daughter. Yup, that would be worse.
Pardon me, Bob, for supposing (along with our Fearless Reader, CIDU Bill) that you were just mistaken or confused. But your correction is well-taken, #1774 was the “…impregnate the shower drain” one.
Cidu Bill Jan 30th 2010 at 10:41 am 17
Bob, I knew which comic you meant, but I didn’t think of the two as having “the same theme”: it’s not as if masturbation jokes are foreign territory for Zach.

There was a poll in another forum recently, and I was amazed at how many men said they didn’t need a lubricant. Could never get close without one…
Jeff S. Jan 30th 2010 at 02:47 pm 19
Lubricant is just more to clean up.

“For the same reason your index finger on your right hand here is so much softer than the others, sweetie. I see you cut that nail short too.”
No, but seriously, even taking everything I can think of into account I don’t get it. Does it make that much of a noticeable difference?
