Nicole: For those who don’t follow the strip … the cloud is god and that is toilet paper next to him — I’ll let you figure the rest out.

Holy Shit! Literally, I guess.
Oh, Nicole. Tsk. Tsk. Now I have to go to bed with that taste in my mouth.

@Elyrest. Wash your mouth out with tincture of green soap.

That’s just nasty … especially how that “rope” is wrapped around the climber.
Hurt Locker Jan 29th 2010 at 01:49 am 4
A snake with a hat and pipe is inherently cute, but I can only wonder why the other climber is A HEAD ON A PIKE.
Oh, so that’s why it’s called “the thunderbucket.”

What strip is this? Is it online or a newspaper strip? link?

“Over the years I got to be quite a connoisseur of soap. My personal preference was for Lux, but I found Palmolive had a nice, piquant after-dinner flavor - heady, but with just a touch of mellow smoothness. Life Buoy, on the other hand… ”
The comic is “Boy on a Stick and Slither” found at http://boasas.com/ (small print in the comic.) I’ve read it a few times but not regularly. Had to do quite a bit of searching to find it (was thinking it was Girl And Snake or something.)

Too much fiber in his diet… what has he been eating?

Elyrest # 1 — ummmm that is why it is called EWWWWWW
chuckers # 6 … A Christmas Story is my very favorite Christmas movie evah!!
A bit of synchronicity — A Christmas Story came up in my acting class last night
And my apologies for not including the name of the strip, I forget that it isn’t always part of the image.

Perhaps you should update the intro to say that “the *blue* cloud is God”. I kept trying to figure out how the clouds in the first two panels might be God.
Still, very funny and very eewwwww

LOL! I love religious jokes!
Nicole Jan 29th 2010 at 01:21 pm 11
Gary #9 a patheon ???? But while there are other clouds in the strip, only one has toilet paper next to it.

I’m with Mark M, and I like a good poop joke. Plus the character concept seems an “homage” to “Snake ‘n’ Bacon”.
furrykef Jan 30th 2010 at 12:21 am 13
I’m definitely with Mark, too. There’s no way a rope and… ‘that’… could ever be confused for one another. It breaks all suspension of disbelief, which makes the ickiness of the whole thing hit even harder. It’s as if it were horribly contrived to provoke the response of “eww” and nothing else.
This is the eww to end all ewws.

“Aww crap.”
nonegiven Jan 30th 2010 at 08:54 am 15
Another one that disappears off the right side of the page once I get it big enough to read
Nicole Jan 30th 2010 at 09:24 am 16
furrykef #14 … Clearly the Almighty does not defecate in the same we we humble mortals do and the feces has devine properties beyond our understanding.
When you add the comic that Igelino #15 posted, it is clear this is a religious commentary.
And yes, it was designed to evoke the EWWWWWW response
All the EWWWWWS that is fit to print

And Jesus on the next cloud over said, “Whew Father, could I get a courtesy flush over here?”
Keera Jan 30th 2010 at 12:50 pm 18
David #18, that would explain the great flood.
less reality, more fantasy, no baby blues Jan 30th 2010 at 01:52 pm 19
This is a pretty good metaphor for a lot of shit.
