Headache

Okay, if I understand this correctly… Mrs Olsen gets a headache every Christmas season — it’s not stated in the comic that she only gets headaches only during the Christmas season, but that’s implied by the third panel — which the girl attributes to a pine tree allergy but which Frazz knows to be due to a Little Drummer Boy ornament? Which he knows about but Mrs Olsen hasn’t made the connection?

Laurie B. Wylie: Is there something I don’t know about the life cycle of moths versus that of any other specific insect? And if moths were indeed sold at a regular pet store like this seems to be, wouldn’t they probably be intended to wind up as food for some other pet (probably reptile)?

Okay, this would kind of make sense if the family in Baby Blues were Jewish. But they’re not. Or if they are, this seems to be the first time it’s been referenced in close to 20 years. And their last name is MacPherson.

I actually do have a theory, but it’s way too convoluted to be what Rick Kirkman and Jerry Scott had in mind.

Okay, in the fourth panel I’m guessing that Janis means she appreciates Arlo because he’s still alive. Or something like that. and Arlo is responding that… okay, I have no idea.

And I have to say, Arlo seems to pretty okay with Janis’s implication that she’d need an Excel spreadsheet to keep track of all her former(?) lovers…
