    To be fair, I suspect most internet instructions on how to “sex hamsters” are even more indignifying for the poor rodent.

    I’ve had tons of hamsters, and I NEVER had any problem tellig the boys from the girls. This would be funnier if she was sexing chickens!

    When I was a kid, the books said that you sexed them by how pointing their rears were. I got pretty good at it, but it is tough. A friend of mine in grad school got two for Christmas one year, which she did not sex correctly and who produced a litter of baby hamsters right away.

    Now sexting hamsters is a lot harder - they don’t hit SEND very well with their paws.

    Somehow I think there is another joke going on here about hamsters and sex but I think it would be well not to google for it.
