    I think it was the shortest time she dated a guy, not the shortest time that he lasted. Of course, when you look at the expression on the friend’s face, maybe I’m wrong…

    Yeah Tim, from the friend’s expression you get the feeling that “minutes” wasn’t the small unit of measurement actually used in the conversation …

    Six and a half minutes is short? I know a few people who would beg to differ. I think if she had said seconds I would believe it had to do with sex, but with minutes I think it’s the relationship she’s talking about.

    I’m inclined to believe that it is an Arlo, though I have a hunch the writer would deny it whether it was his intention or not.

    Unfortunately, Roz’s reaction is no help, because characters in Shoe often react that way whether it’s really warranted or not…

    This is “Shoe.” She means how long she dated the guy, not how long they played “birds and bees.” Funny, this is much less an Arlo for me than “Low Hanging Fruit” . . .

    Elyrest if I lasted only 6 and half minutes my girlfriend would kick me to the curb.

    But I do tend to agree it is not an Arlo but about the relationship.

    Craig - I didn’t say it was good sex. Although now that I think of it isn’t quality better than quantity? Of course, that gets us right back into the Arlo area.
