They're presumably at Santa's workshop at the North Pole. Apparently Santa has had reindeer jerky before, which is not too surprising, as most caribou herdsmen do eat their meat. Of course, it's different when your herd can talk. Presumably the reindeer Santa eats are of the non-talking variety, but Rudolph, or whichever reindeer this is, objects nonetheless and Santa pretends to comply with his wishes.
