I think I see the joke here (wow, no pun intended), and I don’t think any of the above comments hit on it just yet. She must have said, just before this scene, “I don’t see why I need an eye exam; I drove here all by myself after all.”

@Pirk… If she’s JUST taking an eye exam, why is there an anatomy chart on the wall? She’s at her annual physical, and the eye exam is just part of it.
