And of course the revised version happens to work a lot better on this side of the pond as well, several decades later. Another difference I noticed was that he didn't say "Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays" the second time, assuming the audience knew it was coming anyway. I'm not crazy about this change because in the original version, when he says that line the second time, he says (referring to driving with Jews strapped to his fender) "Tuesdays, Thursdays, and <strong>especially</strong> Saturdays," and that's funny. Yeah, I think about these things too much.
