You know how in the last scene of a horror movie you sometimes see THE END followed by ???? Same deal, apparently, with my own Sprint horror story.
I really did think it was over. They confirmed that they’d made an error (several compounding ones, actually) and had corrected it. But then this month’s bill came and the data plan still hasn’t on it but a $75 data usage charge was (incredibly enough, charging me for the exact same amount of data usage, to the very kilobyte, as on last month’s bill; “astronomical coincidence” comes to mind).
So I e-mail them yet again and I get exactly the same response I got a month and a half ago: I’d asked them to cancel my data plan and it can’t be restored.
Back to square one. Of course I have not only the original correspondence showing that I didn’t request any such thing and their own acknowledgment that they were wrong and were fixing their error(s), but I lack the ability to print out all these confirmations, drive over to Sprint headquarters and smack somebody upside the head with them.
I mean damn, I already won this one, and all of a sudden Kanye West shows up and says “Yo Bill, I’m really happy for you, but…”
