It’s the same as “What part of ‘NO’ don’t you understand?” Except because she’s a cow, the only word she knows is “Moo” (and which is also probably the cow word for”yes” as well), which makes it funny, I guess. Um, except she apparently knows a bunch of other English words too, just not the word “no.” But that was the intended joke, I guess.

Where’s my stick of dynamite? My alien spaceship? Where’s my upside down bird?

There’s the old Zen koan where Jōshu was asked if a dog could have the Buddha nature, and he responded, “Mu.” Though I guess connecting that to this comic is too big a stretch.

    You had me at Moo.

  4. Cidu Bill Oct 6th 2009 at 12:49 am 4

That was my first thought, Winter, but I was hoping for something moo.

Boo! You understood this comic all along. You just posted it so that you could give this response to the first explanation you got. Admit it!

    Your comments are udderly silly.

Echoing Winter Wallaby’s first comment, where are the dynamite, upside-down bird, etc? Isn’t the “3″ next to Piraro’s signature supposed to indicate that there are three of those things in there? I can’t find any.

Of course he got shot down. He forgot to take off his ring.

How does a cow normally tell a bull she’s interested? She says “moo” doesn’t she? So is this cow saying “What part of ‘take me now’ do you not understand?”

  17. Aaron Oct 6th 2009 at 07:02 pm 17

“What am I, just a piece of meat to you?”

  18. David N Oct 6th 2009 at 07:32 pm 18

    @Aaron -
“Baby, when you say Moo all I can think about is prime rib.”

    He’s obviously horny…

As a farmer’s son, I am more used to “moo,” when addressed by a cow to a bull, meaning “Yes, yes, now, let’s do it!” than “No, go away.” So maybe those are cow eyes after all.

    U J - Dare I inquire of the farmer’s daughter?

Why is he shirtless, and she’s wearing a blouse? Why would she need a blouse when anything she might need to cover are below what would be her waist?
Of course, for him, the leather vest he’d probably be wearing is superfluous.

What part of “moo” don’t I understand? Well, the “oo” part is a little ambiguous.
