”I have here in my hand a list of 88…”

I don’t know about anybody else, but I’m amused by the fact that New Jersey gubernatorial candidate Chris Christie’s official website has a link to his ”88 Ways Chris Christie will fix New Jersey” list, and the link is broken (it links to an older, no-longer-existing page called “79 Ways…”; the new page was a new name, but nobody thought to change the link that’s supposed to lead to it).
I guess that’s the 89th thing that should be fixed.

Eh, I did my good deed for the day: Called Christie HQ and let them know.

We are talking New Jersey here. Fix can have an entirely different meaning, especially in light of last week’s arrests.

This would all be funny if I did’t live in New Jersey.

The last I heard, Christie was ahead by 15 percentage points, so I guess it wasn’t hurting him. BTW… forgiving me for daring to mention the elephant in the room, but I’d suggest that item #1 might be to fix his own health:

you are probably the only person in the entire state who actually has clicked on that link. most people seem to vote in new jersey not based upon actual facts, but upon opinions they believe to be facts. if Christie actually HAS a plan, i’ll be shocked, because so far it doesn’t seem like either of them do.
that’s par for the course in new jersey politics, of course.

I thought the number 88 was a secret Nazi symbol. A bit farfetched, but I seem to remember T-shirts being recalled from Walmart or something because they had the number 88 on ‘em.
