Too many people are fighting for the "Unity of man" while doing everything they can to preserve their own uniqueness. It's ok to celebrate individuality, and it's ok to strive for unity for all mankind, but it's awkward to do both at the same time. The "single follicle" is just an unfortunate rendering of a strange hairstyle. Seems to me that mess would need a LOT of product to stay up like that. NTR is right.
