    Obama being older than Kennedy is okay, since they were both young presidents. What’s startling is that JFK would have been 92 years old last month.

    Michael Jackson was born August 29, 1958.
    Barack Obama was born August 4, 1961.

    I think that’s closer to two years and eleven months.

    Obama can kill a fly with his bare hands. Obama can do the Vulcan salute. If he can’t moonwalk… he’s at least tried.

    I was born in 1960. For the first time in my life I’m older than the president.

    And my 6 year old son can do the Vulcan salute with both hands at the same time, so Obama ain’t all that. Killing the fly on TV was cool though.

    David Rooney: Me, too. The realization that I’m older than the president was just another step along the “Omigawd I’m getting OLD!” continuum. Along with things like figuring out, at my last big-round-number birthday, that I was older than my father-in-law had been the first time I met him.

    I, too, am older than the president (by about 8 months), but I’m more weirded out by having a guy from my generation in charge. :-)

    I’m 14 years younger than Obama, but I have reached the age where I realize that there’s no magic grownup transition between one’s 30s and 40s, and so it’s people as mature as I am who are running the world. Which is really kind of scary.

    Charlene, how is He cleaning up a mess by making it worse? Bush did spend a lot and was punished by having the Statists take congress in 2006. Obama is spending more than Bush. He’s going to have larger deficits than the 43 President before Him combined.

    Bishop, sometimes when a patient is very ill, the only treatment is medication that can be quite toxic on its own. The medication might even be what kills him first. But the seriousness of the illness is such that this is now the only real option.
