“Yeah, and I can’t ride with the wolf because he’ll eat my goat.”
I love xkcd. So very, very much.

I don’t know whether cats really do get the munchies from catnip, but I have often called catnip pot for cats.
And the xkcd had me laughing outloud. The answer is to not let anyone drink.

I think the alt-text adds a bit, this time: “Calling a cab means cutting into beer money.”

The “Off the Mark” was all the better because of the need to scroll down and delay reading the caption. Thanks Keera Ann!

Aquaman was always the lamest super hero, however Batman is just a man in a batsuit look here http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1906726

Something about the cat’s posture suggests he may be puking, though why he’s doing that in the food dish is beyond me. Otherwise, I don’t think I get that one.

DC heroes and Marvel heroes mixing? Unthinkable!

Is Scienceman singlehandedly taking credit for discovering the entirety of SCIENCE?
Scientists belong on science teams. I’m with the Supercools on this one.

And talking to fish is wonderful superpower. Anyone who disagrees can tell it to my friend Mr. Great White Shark.

I think the cat has passed out with his face in his food.
Dan Jun 2nd 2009 at 05:22 pm 12
Nah, the cat’s licking the bowl, desperately trying to get another fix, just one more fix to get through the day..
ljdarten Jun 2nd 2009 at 07:43 pm 13
Seth: yeah talking to fish is great but, like most of his superpowers, if he’s not in water he’s practically useless.
Personally I think being able to breathe underwater would be kinda cool.

Aquaman is being modest; he doesn’t just talk to fish–they do his bidding! And not just fish, either–marine mammals as well!

I really hope the mix of DC and Marvel superheroes was intentional. It’s depressing when people think they can criticize something they hardly know.

While DC/Marvel crossovers are in their 6th or 7th year, I remain viscerally stupified by the NY Mets’ (a National League team) regular appearance on the Red Sox (American League) schedule. I grew up as a Mets fan so I thought I’d get used to it quickly here in Boston… but no.
(This DC reader only learned Marvel characters through TV and movies (and an occasional peak at my neighbors’ collections; mostly the covers).)

A couple of weekends ago, Kevin, we had the spectacle of Yankees fans rooting for the Mets (who were playing Boston) AND Met fans rooting for the Yankees (who were playing the Phillies). As far as I was concerned, this was the first sign of the Apocolypse.

Pickles is the funniest strip to me because the lol factor is always imbedded in real-life, thought-provoking issues.
