‘Police suspect alcohol may have been involved.’ Or don’t they do that when it’s a celebrity?
Nicole May 29th 2009 at 02:16 pm 2
I am not sure this is a problem

This is Woody Harrelson, I suspect an intoxicant other than alcohol was involved.

My favorite line from the story is Woody’s quite, “…I was startled by a paparazzo, who I quite understandably mistook for a zombie”.
Quite Understandably?!?!

sorry, I meant Woody’s quote.

oh yes, quite understandable. i often mistake photographers for zombies.
it’s why i don’t get invited to many weddings…

Sounds like plain old anger management against paparazzi deliberately set to provoke the provokable.
Gotta hand it to him for creativity in making excuses, though.

It it had been a zombie then no telling how many lives might have been saved if Woody had suceeded in defeating it before it bit maybe hundreds of other people. I for one am GLAD that Mr. Harrelson has my back by being ever vigilent against a possible zombie apopocalyse!

That photographer is just lucky he waited until they were inside the airport. The security guys had already taken away Woody’s chainsaw. (Gotta have a chainsaw when you’re fighting zombies, you know.)

Woody’s defence hinges upon him thinking he was being threatened by a zombie because he was deeply “in character.” He’d better hope the jury hasn’t seen any of his movies or they’ll never buy that.

This article is from early April; does anyone else think it might have been an April Fool’s Day joke? Keep in mind that sometimes those jokes appear on one news site and get mindlessly regurgitated by other news sources without that pesky fact-checking since the other news sources are trustworthy. Or maybe I’ve just been reading too many of GU comics’ newsposts.

I just finished reading, “The Living Dead’, short stories about zombies. The next person I see with a camera better watch out! I am still ‘in character’ . . .
Lola May 30th 2009 at 12:35 pm 13
if this “in character” defense works, Anthony Hopkins will be kicking himself for the lost opportunity.
