Does using a bagatelle like a sword count?
furrykef Apr 21st 2009 at 09:17 pm 5
Not guilty of having done it. Would I? Well… probably.

One thing I am guilty of, however, is eating holes in tortillas to form a crude pair of eye holes to look through. (I mostly did it as a kid, but I still do it every now and then to embarrass my family.)

>Does using a bagatelle like a sword count?
Only you hold it up and say:
“Hello…my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.”

Our bread is pre-cut. T-T

Kedamono, using a bagatelle as a sword counts as long as your brother has one too.

Guilty. (I’m not sure what that says about me.)

Damn! And to think I thought I was such a clever and precocious child.

And if you are from Philadelphia, you have to imitate the late Harry Kalas calling your shot- “That ball is out-ta HERE!” was his classic home run call.

Anyone who would treat a good baguette that way is a real batard.
Powers Apr 22nd 2009 at 07:42 am 15
I don’t think I ever did this. But I’m not a big baseball fan.

That insult cannot go unanswered, Mark. Choose your bakery product!

That’s a baguette. Bagatelle is an indoor table game related to billiards.

With the third stanza of John Fogerty’s “Center Field” playing in the background.

Yeah, was totally seeing this as a Harry the K tribute, although I don’t know if A&J’s creator has a Philadelphia connection.

I’m with Blinky (great name, byw) and dan, it’s a Harry the K tribute, and I thought that loked like a 2 foot hoagie on the dinner table
Once got mad at the oldest while making dinner, I was taking a loaf of french bread out of the freezer when he mouthed off, hit him over the head with it and it snapped in two. We all laughed so hard I can’t remember why I was mad at him.
