Her virginity.
Mark Jones Feb 26th 2009 at 12:34 am 2
Yeah, virginity. Look at the other kid’s expression. He gets it, the other boy does not.
Nicole Feb 26th 2009 at 12:47 am 3
nothing to see here — move along
David N Feb 26th 2009 at 01:52 am 4
Not only does the one kid not get it, he’s apparently digging a hole trying to find what Mom lost! Good luck on that one, kid!
Zop Feb 26th 2009 at 02:29 am 5
LOL for me.
furrykef Feb 26th 2009 at 08:28 am 6
David’s got it.
Powers Feb 26th 2009 at 10:17 am 7
Might not be virginity — might be innocence or hope or her mind.
Daniel J. Drazen Feb 26th 2009 at 10:55 am 8
I vote for “virginity” and that neither of the boys gets it.

If what she lost was her lunch, I hope he doesn’t find it.

LOL

What kind of mother would tell her son that she lost her virginity - even in some indirect way?
Mark in Boston Feb 27th 2009 at 10:51 am 12
I think most sons somehow know whether or not their mothers still have their virginity.
blueiguana Feb 27th 2009 at 10:52 am 13
Really? Is this really a CIDU?
Powers Feb 28th 2009 at 11:52 am 14
Yes. I, for one, am not convinced that “virginity” is what she lost.
Adam Feb 28th 2009 at 04:54 pm 15
I honestly didn’t think there was any non-virginity interpretation. What could she have lost instead that would make this comic make any sense?
David N Mar 1st 2009 at 04:02 am 16
No romantics, huh? Mom could have lost her heart …
Powers Mar 1st 2009 at 10:45 am 17
Several possibilities have been mentioned, Adam; there’s absolutely nothing here to imply a sexual context.
Mitch4 Mar 1st 2009 at 12:09 pm 18
I suppose “heart” is possible, but it wouldn’t be much of a joke. Only “virginity” actually gives you a joke … whatever its flaws otherwise.
Matthew Mar 2nd 2009 at 12:07 am 19
I, too, vote for virginity–but only in this context. I am, in all other areas, against it, and I do my best to rid the world of it.
