COMICS I DON’T UNDERSTAND seems to become, on occasion, “Comics I Like”. Were any of these difficult to understand?

To all who shared, thanks. I particularly enjoyed the armadillo family portrait & Superman on his deathbed.

It’s more than “Comics I Like”, Matthew; this is a very special category. Check it out in the set of categories below (or at the bottom depending on your browser).

At least Frank got a face “bop!” eh-eh!

Hate to admit it, but the ‘Loose Parts’ comic is a CIDU to me.

Some would say that those dog vet collars look like lamp shades…

Yeah, I didn’t get the Loose Parts either. The best I could come up with was a lampshade reference, but lightbulbs don’t stick out of the bottom of a lampshade like that, so I don’t see anything funny about it. Is there any more to it than that?

    It’s a great SMBC, though.

Some bulbs stick out of the bottom of their shade - like these:

And those ones you often see on the sides of old industrial buildings - similar to:

(I’m a light fixture aficionado, by the way)

Lois should have said Green Arrow. Or maybe Aquaman. The Lois in Smallville has dated both of those characters.

The wife says she can relate to Brandy. It reminds me of my early teens.

The best thing about the Unshelved comic is that that character is normally the sweet, gentle one…it’s nice to see even she has her limits. And witty ones, too!

Brandy is proportioned like a barbie doll - me thinks the artist worked a little too long drawing her!

Frank Cho loves drawing very, very well proportioned women.

What’s interesting about Brandy to me is that she’s the only character in Liberty Meadows that he draws in his more usual style.
