Folks, I was kidding about the tree thing. His burn scars just look more like a depiction of tree bark to me…

I think the joke is just that this is what Freddy Krueger dreams about. He normally spends his time invading other peoples’ dreams. Not sure how or why he has “entered” his own dreams, but there ya go.

I *think* I get it (Freddie was always trying to ‘improve’ people with his nails, sees himself beautifully dancing with all his trademark markings, is overcome with joy.) Kind of a stretch for a funny.

But … I didn’t think Freddie was into being feminine?
