After off-shore drilling began the sludge stopped appearing on the beaches. Must be what the Earth is talking about. So we would really be doing the planet a favor if we continued on our course until it can no longer sustain any life. Seriously: what do your friends think of you when you've got lice crawling out of your hair and fungus growing on your neck? Well, how do you think the Earth feels?
