    Each of the heads has a different expression. The juggling is a metaphor for his face. I’ve had this experience, where someone just seems to be entirely unable to settle on a reaction to something.

    I don’t know the comic, but it might be because he thinks she’s hot.

    Ah, yes, the one question no man can answer correctly, but he is furiously trying to, nevertheless. Excellently illustrated, IMO.

    Keera, the one question no man can answer correctly is, “Does this make me look fat?” This is #2 on the list.

    Jeff the correct answer to your question #1 is “no”. Now the truthful answer on the other hand may be entirely different. That’s what can get us in trouble.

    Personally, I’ve never had problems answering #2 honestly.

    The correct answer to number 2 is ‘no, the cakes you pack away make you look fat’. Technically correct, but (I’ve been informed) almost never appropriate.

    First, I assume he thinks she’s hot since they’re married. I stopped reading the strip about the time they went from best friends to being married.

    The answer to the question, by the way, is “how do you like it?” If you like it and she doesn’t, she may buy it for you, never wear it, and feel bad about not getting what she wanted (and blaming you.) The problem with her liking it and you not is obvious. The problem with my answer is that we’re supposed to read their minds, but it’s still safer.

    Scott - the series “rebooted” itself and Norm’s not married now.
