Lola: I guess Wiley wanted to make sure, if we didn’t get it the first time, that we got the “gag.”

Elliott Mitchell: No, lady, you’re supposed to kiss the frog, nothing beyond that, at least not while he’s still a frog…

Anyone else find it odd that in the first panel of CW he decided to use “BRRRRRR” to denote the sound of the propeller, when that also is what people say when they’re freezing?

CW: Now the runway smells like bouillon.

What is an “air condition”? Don’t these guys proof read these strips?

Not a comment on Ewww-ness, but doesn’t _anyone_ proofread comics any more? In the “Chicken Wings” you have here, it should be “air conditioner”, not “air condition”. This is apparently supposed to be a commercial strip, not a vanity web comic, so I’d think they’d care (though their FAQ indicates I’d be wrong). It isn’t like I’m asking them to proof a novel - this strip has a total of 8 words in it (plus 3 “sound effects”). It must have taken a while to draw - take an extra 30 seconds and look at it before you send it off, guys…

(Or maybe I’m just an anal pedant and no one else cares…)

OK - I’m impressed. _Two_ of us cared at the same time!

As well, the twin red paint stripes on the propeller would leave a red circle when the prop is spinning (panel 1).

I just assumed the pilot was an idiot and didn’t use the right term. I don’t read this strip regularly. I also, at first, based on Bill’s caption, thought that the other character was named “Even” and said to myself “what an odd way to spell Evan.” So you can see what my thoughts are worth.

The look on the girl’s face in the last one… where are her hands?

Turning white rice into brown rice just means buring to me, not pooping. Take that, Argyle Sweater!

“why does the cow need a pipe-wrench?”

If someone were going to hook me up to something like that, they’d have to hit me over the head with something?.
